Genuine handcrafted 925 Sterling Silver sun wheel pendant with a runic circle around the symbol. The Runic circle is often called "the Wheel of the World" and it contains the entire Elder Futhark alphabet, claimed to have beneficial mystical properties by Skaldic manuscripts. This is a double sided pendant. Included with the amulet comes a comfortable black cord for ideal wear of this piece.

This variation of the sun wheel was often used by the Alemanni and Bavarian people around the year 400 AD, and was commonly found depicted on brooches and decorations with number of spokes varying between 5 to 13. Presumably the symbol traveled to the Germanic region from Italy, where first depictions of such sun wheel were found on jewelry pieces dated 700-800 BC.
