Clasp locked bite ring completes the necklace by inserting the ring into wolf maws on each side of the necklace. In Norse mythology, Fenrir is an enormous wolf that was prevented from causing death and chaos across the worlds by the Aesir Gods. Tricked by the Aesir, Fenrir was chained for an eternity and a sword was stuck in his mouth to prevent him from gnawing on his chains. Doing so was costly for the Aesir – Tyr, God of law and justice, had to sacrifice his hand to persuade Fenrir to walk into a trap. I absolutely love my chain

I absolutely love my chain. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the length but it has grown on me. It's the perfect size and it has a nice weight to it. It definitely feels like a high quality piece of jewelry. I couldn't be more pleased.

It's a beautiful necklace but....

I've had two of these & Rach had had different problems. The first one broke when the chain link connected to the back of one of the wolves' heads came detached.

The second one I received as a replacement has a loose chain link which I can't fix because it's too fiddly to do so.

It's a shame because the wolf-heads look great - a nice mixture of ancient art & sleek design but it's still obvious it's a wolf - not all Norse jewellery matches that!

The links attached to the wolf-heads need to be fixed in with a more durable process than at present. I have two King's-chains, also from Norsegarde, which have stronger, less exposed chain links & the chain ends are firmly pressed into the wolf-heads. This is a much better design in my opinion.

Stainless steel necklace

Very disappointed to be honest I’ve never been allergic to stainless steel before until I bought this, instantly I come out in an allergic rash.
