Vegvisir, meaning that which shows the way, is an Icelandic compass rune for travelers and wayfinders to always find the right path or direction in their travels. In one of the manuscripts, it was claimed that the carrier of such sign will never lose their way in any storm or poor weather, and will always be able to find the road to their goal even if that road was previously unknown to them.
In Norse mythology, Jormungandr is the enormous world serpent which by the legends was tossed into the ocean by Odin himself. Finding safety and plethora of food in the ocean’s waters, Jormungandr has grown so big that he managed to coil around the land and grasp its own tail with its jaws. In Norse mythology, this serpent biting his own tail is another iconography of cycle of eternity, and once Jormungandr releases its tail the eternity shall end and the end of all worlds, Ragnarok, shall begin.

Hi, looking to get my girlfriend this ring for Christmas as she’s a massive fan of Norse Mythology and Vikings - I secretly measured one of her rings and looked at the convertor chart from UK sizing to USA sizing and it said that she was a 10.5 in the USA sizing part. when looking at the available sizes for this ring there is only 10 and then 11 no 10.5 I was wondering if I would need to get this size custom or if there was a way around it ? Thank you ! :)
