Authentic and artisan-made 925 Sterling Silver signet ring adorned with Yggdrasil, the cosmic tree, engraved on the ring's face and two soaring ravens on either side. This ring is smoothly polished on the inside for comfortable wear, and comes in a variety of sizes. Yggdrasil is the world tree in Norse mythology and its trunk is the center of Nordic spiritual cosmos. Nine worlds are connected by Yggdrasil, and all Gods go to this tree daily to perform their duties. In Norse culture and many other cultures around the globe, the tree often represents the eternal life. The constant cycle of death and rebirth brought the belief that life is cyclical and therefore eternal. The world tree became a popular symbol of such belief all over the Earth, and its imagery was often included in religious rituals or depicted on sacred charms.
Ravens were popular in Norse mythology as Odin’s eternal companions that he created to assist his wolves with their hunt. The first two ravens were named Hugin and Munin, memory and thought, were eyes and ears during Odin’s travels across the world. Amongst his many names Odin was also known as the raven lord and these birds of prey were highly regarded in Nordic society, often depicted on charms and drawings as a sign of wisdom and foresight.

The ring was precisely as depicted in the picture, even more so considering it was resized to fit a US 18 size with an impressive 80 mm circumference. I am so delighted with it that I am contemplating purchasing the gold-plated version as well.

The Yggdrasil silver ring is a quality ring with a very interesting and unusual design. The sizing is accurate, the ring looks amazing and I love the style. It’s made of my favourite metal, silver, and matches a number of other Norsegarde jewellery that I already have. It arrived as described, in good condition and in a reasonable time.

The ring came as described. They didn’t have my size on the order screen, so I added a customization on to my order and explained the situation. I was nervous that it was going to arrive in the random size I selected. I was relieved that it came in my size, and exactly as described online. It looks just like the picture. My only mistake was that i ordered one a bit too big for myself. Rookie mistake from a 1st time ring buyer i guess... So now its looking at me every day on display, until i get the disposable income to resize. Definitely interested in buying again down the line.
