This genuine 925 Sterling Silver pendant features a Thor's hammer design with Mammen art style engravings. The Mammen style was first seen on a decorated axe head buried with a nobleman from the House of Gorm, also known as House of Denmark. The back of the design has a mesh pattern for comfortable wearing.
In Norse culture, Thor's hammer Mjolnir is an iconic weapon of the Nordic God of Thunder. By legends, this hammer was the most powerful weapon in existence, capable of leveling mountains with a single blow. Being one of the most prominent representations of Thor and his godly strength, the iconography of this weapon was widely popular amongst the Norse and was used widely for religious practices and rituals. Akin to the crucifix, Mjolnir was used for blessing the holy events such as marriage or worn by Nordic warriors to grant them strength and protection in battle.

Very well crafted, beautiful design. Needed a little fettling to allow the chain ends to pass through. But otherwise all perfect.
Beautiful piece that I bought for my wife.
I wish they were much more straightforward about the quality of the piece, being that it is a cast. The imperfections are obvious and the patterned back end isn't fully uniform throughout the back as in the picture.
4 stars because my wife loves it, regardless of imperfections. I also really like it, just wish the quality was a bit better.
Doesn't even look the same like the picture! weight and length doesn't match description. Crappy mold, mass production. i ordered it beginning of december for Christmas gift received this piece of **** today 26 januari. Thanks for the silver i guess.... Total scam

I ordered the pendant for my partner and he really likes it and wears it every day. It looks great and the quality is very good.
This is a beautifully made, quality charm pendant. Bought as a gift and they just loved it. I highly recommend the charm, but would not recommend wearing it on the cord supplied, The pendant was very nearly lost the second time of wearing, as the clasp broke.
Other than that, a lovely thing!

This sterling silver Thor's hammer is beautiful, but the links of the chain at the back of the necklace holding it in place keeps coming apart. Luckily, it has always fallen off at home so far, but if it is worn out of the house, we risk losing it completely. :(

The pendant itself was great, I love it!
The cord it shipped with was not what I thought it would be and so I replaced it.
Much of the cost of this was for shipping to the US, it also took five weeks to get here. On the site the definition of the design was pretty fine but it looks like a copy of a copy of a copy when I got it. Especially the back side, which i especially liked from the pics on the norsgarde site… it was made in Ukraine, during a crazy situation, and by hand, which I completely appreciate and respect. I really like this, and it came with a necklace to hang it from which wasn’t expected, but it doesn’t quite look like I thought it would based on the pics from norsgard. Four outta five stars, but fiveish since it’s coming from Ukraine.
