Genuine handcrafted 925 Sterling Silver signet ring with the Vegvisir compass rune engraved on the face of the ring and a soaring raven on each side. This ring is smoothly polished on the inside for comfortable wear, and comes in a variety of sizes. Vegvisir, meaning that which shows the way, is an Icelandic compass rune for travelers and wayfinders to always find the right path or direction in their travels. In one of the manuscripts, it was claimed that the carrier of such sign will never lose their way in any storm or poor weather, and will always be able to find the road to their goal even if that road was previously unknown to them.
Ravens were popular in Norse mythology as Odin’s eternal companions that he created to assist his wolves with their hunt. The first two ravens were named Hugin and Munin, memory and thought, were eyes and ears during Odin’s travels across the world. Amongst his many names Odin was also known as the raven lord and these birds of prey were highly regarded in Nordic society, often depicted on charms and drawings as a sign of wisdom and foresight.

I wanted something for my little finger. Fits perfect not bulky, I could wear this every day. I can easily take my gloves on and off without the ring interfering, which is a problem when I wear some of my larger rings. Quality is very good and I like the aged patina look. Delivery was quite fast as well.
