Genuine handcrafted 925 Sterling Silver light pendant depicting the world tree Yggdrasil with its tangled branches forming a Triquetra Celtic Knot in the center of the pendant. This is a double sided pendant.

Yggdrasil is the world tree in Norse mythology and its trunk is the center of Nordic spiritual cosmos. Nine worlds are connected by Yggdrasil, and all Gods go to this tree daily to perform their duties. In Norse culture and many other cultures around the globe, the tree often represents the eternal life. The constant cycle of death and rebirth brought the belief that life is cyclical and therefore eternal. The world tree became a popular symbol of such belief all over the Earth, and its imagery was often included in religious rituals or depicted on sacred charms.

Hello, is the entire pendant including the bail solid silver in and out? I have a serious metal allergy and I can't wear just simply silver plated stuff.

Hi Yeonok, the pendant itself is crafted entirely from sterling silver (an alloy of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper), including bail. Please note, however, that the complimentary necklace may include metal components made from a different alloy. If you have sensitivities or preferences, we recommend choosing an alternative necklace option that feels most comfortable for you.

Hi Randy, the default pendant eyelet is 4mm wide and it typically fits a 3mm stainless steel necklace.
