Inspired by the ancient “Head of the Scheldt,” a carved ship’s figurehead recovered from the River Scheldt in Belgium, this pendant reimagines one of the most enigmatic relics of Europe’s Iron Age. Thought to originate from a Celtic vessel and later deposited into the river, possibly as a ritual offering, the original figurehead features a fierce, crescent-shaped form with jagged teeth and expressive contours that evoke protective spirits and the maritime traditions of the late La Tène period. 

Crafted in genuine 925 sterling silver with a gold plated side to it, the pendant captures the raw texture, bold silhouette, and symbolic intensity of the artifact.
