Odin the All-Father is the chief of the Aesir, the pantheon of Nordic Gods, and is most known for his thirst for knowledge and wisdom. Often named the Wanderer, Odin is said to travel the lands under different guises collecting stories and searching for new adventures. The legends speak of Odin going as far as hanging himself from the world tree Yggdrasil to discover the runic alphabet on the end of ninth day, or giving up his eye for a drink from Mimir’s well of knowledge.
