Genuine handcrafted 925 Sterling Silver signet ring with Slavic Kolowrat, also known as the spinning wheel, engraved on the face of the ring and Urnes style engravings on each side. Urnes style art was the last phase of Viking art found on Scandinavian architecture and art carvings. This ring is smoothly polished on the inside for comfortable wear, and comes in a variety of sizes. For more information on how to accurately measure your finger size, please refer to our Ring Sizing Guide image in the photo slideshow.
Kolowrat, The Spinning Wheel, is an early Slavic symbol of the sun and the sun deity Dazbog. Kolowrat was overwhelmingly used as a charm for good luck and happiness, as the sun and Dazbog were praised for bringing joy, strength, and protection from evil into everyday life. For many warriors and sages this was also a symbol of eternal life, representing the cyclical nature of life, how after every dawn there is a sunrise, and how after every death there is a new life.
